Dongmak Beach

An impressive beach curved like a bow. A wide sandy beach 100m wide and 200m long is surrounded by thick old pine trees. When the tide recedes, endless tidal flats are revealed. You can catch a variety of sea creatures such as clams, crabs, and snails, so it is good to enjoy mudflat experiences with children. It is located at the southern end of Mount Manisan (468m). The sunset seen from the coastal road from Janghwa-ri to Dongmak-ri in Hwado-myeon in the south of Ganghwa Island is also outstanding.
