Dongnaeupseong

Busan is also a city that retains Korean beauty and antiquity. Let’s head to ‘Dongnaeupseong Fortress,’ Busan Metropolitan City Monument No. 5. Dongnaeupseong Fortress is located on Maansan Mountain (149m above sea level). Looking at the eaves raised at both ends and the fortress walls that are solidly piled up, you will be surprised, saying, “This place is hidden in the city center!”
Hwangnyeongsan Observatory

‘Hwangnyeongsan Observatory’ is a must-visit for couples who are growing in love in Busan. Hwangryeongsan Mountain can be said to be a mountain in the center of Busan as it spans the four districts of Busan (Busanjin-gu, Yeonje-gu, Suyeong-gu, and Nam-gu).
It is also popular as a driving course because in spring, the road with cherry blossoms on both sides leads to the observatory of Mt. Hwangnyeong. It is the best place for a night tour.
Emei Mountain Observatory

The Seobusan region is called the hidden treasure house of Busan thanks to the natural beauty of the Nakdonggang River. Near Dadaepo Beach, there is a place where you can look down at the point where the Nakdong River and the sea become one. It is the ‘Amisan Observatory’ located at the southwest end of Busan.
When viewed from the side, the Amisan Observatory looks like a single bird sitting on it, and when viewed from the air, it looks like two sandbars attached to each other. It is quite large and consists of three floors. There is an information desk and seminar room on the first floor, an exhibition hall on the second floor, and an indoor observatory and cafeteria on the third floor.
Songdo Beach

A hot place in Busan nicknamed ‘Bunecia (Busan + Venice)’. It is also a travel destination that once heated up social media. It is on the way to Dadaepo Beach and the sunset is beautiful. The colorful buildings and boats floating on the water here create an exotic atmosphere in all four seasons.

Busan Mayor International Market

What if travel is hesitant because of a thin wallet? Let's go to the market. For 10,000 won, you can fill your stomach and enjoy shopping. Gukje Market, Bupyeong Kkangtong Market, and Jagalchi Market, which are considered the three major markets in Busan, are playgrounds and food alleys for budget travelers. Even just going to the market is fun and pleasant all day long.
Gukje Market was formed when many people gathered to trade goods left by the Japanese who left after liberation. At first, it was called Dottegi Market, but in the 1950s, when US military supplies and smuggled goods flowed in, it got the name Gukje Market. Like a grandiose name, there is nothing in the market. There is even a saying that “everything you need is there from the moment you are born.”
Bupyeong Kkangtong Night Market

The market is crowded with people even in the dark. This is because they sell all kinds of snacks at the night market. Opened for the first time in Korea in 2013, the Bupyeong Kkangtong Night Market is crowded on weekends and holidays. It is open from 7:30 to 11:30 pm and is open year-round (temporarily closed before holidays).

Daegu Seomun Market, night market

It was named Seomun Market because it was located on the west side of the Daegu Fortress. At first, the motorcycle alley around Bonjeon Coffee Shop on the current Sijangbuk-ro, about 300m away from the Fortress, was the market, and it is said to have been open on the 2nd and 7th of every month. The names of Hongdukkaejeon and Chickenjeon alleys remain to this day. Textile-related items form the main category, and the scale is so large that there are no items such as silk, fabric, meriyas, handicrafts, men's and women's clothing, dishes, and dried seafood. It has a warm heart and is conveniently equipped with air-conditioning and heating facilities and a large parking lot.
Busan Gamcheon Village
부산 감천마을

부산 감천마을

Gamcheon Culture Village began as a base for the hardships of the 6.25 refugees in the 1950s and is a place that preserves the history of Busan to the present day. The terraced group dwellings lined up in an orderly manner along the foot of the mountain and the scenery of the maze-like alleyways leading to all roads show the uniqueness of Gamcheon Bay. It has become a representative tourist attraction visited by domestic and foreign tourists. It is called Korea's Machu Picchu and Santorini because of the beautiful pastel-toned houses and labyrinth-like alleys that are cascading along the hillside. In 2016, he was awarded the Presidential Award, the highest prize at the Korea Spatial Culture Awards. In Gamcheon Culture Village, you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the village in harmony with beautiful nature, and appreciate various types of works installed in the alleys. It is possible to experience various crafts through artists' workshops, so tourists are constantly looking for them.
