DMZ Peace Tour

In Korea, the only divided country in the world, the DMZ Demilitarized Zone is the place foreigners are most curious about and want to visit. If you go to Imjingak Peace Nuri Park, you can take a DMZ tour, and there is also a JSA Panmunjom tour schedule for foreigners.

Goyang International Flower Fair

Numerous colorful pinwheels blowing in the wind on a wide, green hill, people and pets happily running among them, it is a beautiful and peaceful landscape just by imagining it.
If you go to Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri, you can see the ‘Hill of Wind’, which depicts peace by visualizing invisible wind with 3,000 pinwheels. The wind can go wherever it wants, whenever it wants, wherever it wants, and it can come and go freely regardless of thoughts or ideologies, whether it is south or north. So wind is considered a symbol of freedom and peace. The Hill of Wind is a landmark of Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri, which is loved by children because of its pinwheels, and is a great place to take pictures with pets because it is a wide outdoor space.
When I think of the word Imjingak, I think of the painful history of division, so I wonder if I should go with a heavy heart, but let's go with a light and joyful heart to a peaceful shelter with pinwheels of various colors on the grass, hoping for unification rather than division.

Goyang International Flower Fair

The Goyang International Flower Fair is the largest flower festival in Korea and the only flower exhibition in Korea, held simultaneously at Ilsan Lake Park and Wondang Flower Complex. Celebrating its 14th anniversary in 2021, 30 countries will participate to present the latest flower trends and showcase representative flowers and exotic plants from each country. An indoor garden where you can meet the climax of flower art, a colorful outdoor themed garden, a rich cultural performance program, and a cheap flower market are operated.
In particular, at Wondang Flower Complex, which is designated as a special flower zone, seminars, fairs, and exhibitions of new varieties are held, as well as direct tours of various flower cultivation sites and various experience programs.

Everland

Everland, located in Yongin, is a theme park that provides fun and relaxation with various facilities such as festivals, attractions, animals, and plants that are held 365 days a year, seasonally. As a safe tourist destination recommended by Gyeonggi-do and selected by the Korea Tourism Organization, it is a place where you can experience various pleasures in a wide outdoor space.

Korean Folk Village

Opened in 1974, the Korean Folk Village is a traditional culture amusement park where you can see houses and lifestyles of the Joseon Dynasty. There are about 270 traditional houses, such as the houses where noblemen lived, farmhouses, private houses, and government offices that reveal their characteristics depending on the region. The house remains as it was before, but it is more lively than in the past. This is because actors from the Joseon Dynasty, such as Sato, police officers, and beggars, as well as actors who play specific roles, walk around and enjoy with visitors.

Suwon Hwaseong Fortress

The pride of Suwon, Hwaseong Temporary Palace is a place where you can feel the grand dream and filial piety of King Jeongjo. It has the most outstanding size and formality among the haenggung palaces built across the country. Hwaseong Haenggung Palace was built in the 13th year of King Jeongjo of the Joseon Dynasty (1789) to be used as a government office when the tomb of Crown Prince Sado, the father of King Jeongjo, was moved to the location of the Suwon-bu township, and the original Suwon-bu township was moved to the foot of Mt. Paldal. It is said that when the king came down to Suwon, he used it as a temporary residence. However, it began to be used as a hospital and police station in 1911 during the Japanese colonial period, and most of it was destroyed as the hospital building was newly built in the 1920s.
